Thai–Japanese Interpreter

About the role

We are seeking a highly professional Thai–Japanese Interpreter on a temporary contract to support executive-level and cross-functional communication, including document translation and real-time meeting interpretation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Thai–Japanese and Japanese–Thai interpretation to support both Managing Director (Thai) and Admin Director (Japanese) closely
• Interpret during meetings between MD and Admin Director, as well as meetings with Headquarters
• Support Admin Director in communicating with Thai staff across functions including Accounting, HR, GA, Procurement, IT, and Utilities
• Translate key documents such as executive reports, headquarters-related documents, business emails, company policies, and weekly meeting
• Manage and coordinate Admin Director's schedule, including meeting arrangements and related coordination
• Act as a communication bridge between Thai staff and Admin Director to ensure clear and effective communication

About you

• Excellent command of Thai and Japanese
• JLPT N1–N2 or equivalent certification (please attach score certificate)
• Experience in interpretation in manufacturing, corporate, or technical environments is preferred
• Experience supporting senior management or executives is highly preferred
• Ability to perform real-time (simultaneous) interpreting would be an advantage
• High sense of responsibility, punctuality, and ability to work under pressure
