Thai Language Teacher/ครูสอนภาษาไทย (เริ่มงานได้ทันที)

About the role

The Thai Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate Thai language lessons that support students' academic, social, and emotional development. The teacher is expected to create a positive and inclusive learning environment and work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective Thai language lessons in accordance with the School's curriculum and learning objectives.
• Prepare appropriate teaching materials, resources, activities, and assessments.
• Teach Thai language, reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills according to students' age and ability.
• Monitor and assess students' progress and maintain accurate records.
• Provide appropriate support and differentiation for students with different learning needs and abilities.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' learning and development when required.
• Work collaboratively with class teachers, teaching assistants, and the Academic Team.
• Participate in school events, meetings, professional development, and other school activities.
• Support students' wellbeing, behaviour, and overall development.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Thai Language, or a related field.
• Relevant teaching qualification or teaching experience.
• Previous experience teaching Thai language, preferably in an international or bilingual school environment.
• Good knowledge of Thai language curriculum and teaching methodologies.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Passionate about teaching and supporting students' learning and development.
