About the Role

Serve food and beverages to all guests of the Copper Room in a professional, polite and timely

manner. Provide exceptional service creating fond memories for all guests.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure all aspect of the dining room are acceptable e.g. chairs, tables, tablecloths,

cutlery, glassware, dinnerware, etc.

• Serve all ordered items to guests in a friendly, professional and timely manner.

• Familiarize self with the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods for the menu items.

• Strong knowledge of wines and other specialty beverages.

• Willing and able to suggest beverage item pairings with meals.

• Complete additional job-related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• Current Food Safe certification (required).

• Current Serving it Right certification (required).

• 1 year previous experience as a server in a fine dining establishment.

• Strong customer service or public contact experience.

• Touch screen POS experience would be an asset.

• Strong cash handling skills.

• Successful up selling skills.

• Bartending experience is an asset.

• Capacity to safely lift/move up to 30 lbs. and stand/walk for long periods per shift.

• Previous experience using a large oval tray to transport meals and dishes.

• Strong organizational, prioritization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

• Flexibility to work a changing schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays, etc.).

• Fluent English communication skills (required); multi-lingual ability is a strong asset.
