The Vice President, Development Operations

For our client, we are seeking a Vice President, Development Operations to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will oversee development operations and data strategy within a large, mission-driven fundraising environment. The position will partner closely with leadership, the Board, and cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency, reporting, and campaign support across the organization. It also includes shaping analytics, communications, events, and giving programs to support long-term growth and organizational goals.

Location: New York, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $326,800 – $387,100 annually

Responsibilities

• Assess and align resources within the development team across functions and programs
• Evolve and automate the data strategy to better support growth
• Optimize communications, events, and funding initiatives to improve efficiency and collaboration
• Analyze fundraising performance and trends, providing insights to leadership and the Board of Trustees
• Develop key performance dashboards and reports to guide fundraising strategy and KPI measurement
• Create and implement a business plan for a major fundraising program, including brand evaluation and rebranding efforts
• Establish a corporate giving strategy to expand on existing successful events

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, information management, or a related field; master's preferred
• Minimum of 10 years in progressive management roles in healthcare fundraising and operations, ideally in an academic medicine setting
• Experience with CRM conversion is a plus
• Strong drive to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic organization
• Deep technical knowledge in CRM management
