Therapeutic Skill Builder

Youth Elevation LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated Therapeutic Skill Builder to join our team in Lynchburg, VA! Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized therapeutic skill-building sessions to youth clients in home, community, and school settings
• Implement treatment plans developed by clinical supervisors to support behavioral and emotional growth
• Teach coping strategies, social skills, and self-regulation techniques to children and adolescents
• Document session progress, client goals, and behavioral observations in a timely and accurate manner
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary treatment teams to ensure continuity of care
• Model positive behavior and serve as a role model for youth clients
• Monitor and report changes in client behavior or safety concerns to supervising clinicians

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field preferred
• Prior experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with behavioral health needs
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and youth development principles
• Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries while building trusting relationships with youth
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
• Must pass background check and meet state licensing requirements
