Therapist (associate)

We are seeking a dedicated Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with mental health disorders, possess strong skills in DMH documentation, and be knowledgeable in various counseling techniques such as psychotherapy and addiction counseling. Work schedule is: Monday-Friday 12pm-8pm. This position has the potential to turn into a salaried position in the future with a raise, based on performance.

ACSW/AMFT Therapist Responsibilities:

1. Maintaining a safe, healthy, and therapeutic environment at the STRTP.

2. Ensuring that each child admitted to the program has a mental health assessment.

3. Ensuring the mental health services identified on each treatment plan are provided and appropriate to meet the individual needs of the child.

4. Ensuring that documentation and recordkeeping requirements are met for individual therapy sessions, family sessions, etc..

5. Provide weekly Therapy, both individual and group, to all minors and NMD currently placed in the Facility and Aftercare clients requiring linkages to community-based providers for up to one year. Provide family therapy, as needed.

6. Crisis coverage, schedule to be determined.

7. Participate in mental health treatment team meetings, Child and Family Team (CFTM), IEPs, etc. and provide clinical updates based on your clinical work with the client; document these meetings in the EHRS.

8. Productivity 20-25 hours per week.

9. Cover/Serve as the Head of Service while at the STRTP when the Head of Service is not present at the STRTP while still getting all decisions approved by a licensed Therapist.

10. Perform other duties as deemed necessary for fulfillment of program requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
