We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
• Deliver individual counseling sessions employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches
• Provide specialized counseling services including grief counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, gender issues counseling, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder
• Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of medical terminology and records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management plans, patient care coordination, and clinical research initiatives
• Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote therapy sessions while adhering to best practices in clinical counseling and social work

Skills

• Extensive experience in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, brain spotting, and/or EMDR therapy, etc
• Strong knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for diagnostic evaluation and medical documentation
• Skilled in working with children, adolescents, and/or geriatrics
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health and mental health counseling practices
• Experience with telehealth platforms for outpatient or inpatient settings in both clinic experience and hospital environments
• Ability to conduct intake assessments effectively while managing complex cases involving trauma, PTSD, chronic pain, or addiction issues
• Knowledge of CPT coding for billing purposes related to clinical services provided
• Demonstrated competence in social work principles combined with clinical counseling expertise across outpatient and inpatient settings
• Strong communication skills for engaging patients during individual sessions while fostering a supportive environment

Pay: $74,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
