Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation Position: Therapy Coordinator

Location: 1199 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange, NJ

Schedule: Per Diem 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Minimum of 2 shifts per month: weekend and weekday needs) Compensation: $22 per Hour Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital is committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care to best address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges for individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.

The Therapy Coordinator performs various administrative duties to support the daily operations of the Rehabilitation Services Department.

• Position requires initiative, problem-solving abilities, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Coordinates patient scheduling, assists with staffing, audits, and related activities.
• Promotes enhanced operations through strong communication and computer skills.

Minimum Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required
• Proficiency in office skills, including typing and computer skills, and the use of office equipment is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a medical setting required

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Previous experience within a therapy department and/or rehabilitation setting preferred.
