What they need

Our Therapy team is ready to grow!

KIDS Center is adding a Therapy Program Manager to lead our therapy program, which provides clinical mental health services for children and families impacted by abuse and trauma.

This role combines program leadership, clinical supervision, direct client care, and oversight of day-to-day program operations. The Therapy Program Manager leads and supports our team of therapists, helps guide the continued development of the program, and works closely with the Evaluation Team and multidisciplinary community partners to provide coordinated mental health services for children and families.

The position also maintains an adjusted therapy caseload and plays an important role in supporting clinical quality, client access, program outcomes, documentation, regulatory compliance, professional development of our therapy team, and the continued growth of mental health services at KIDS Center.

We are looking for an experienced clinician and supervisor who enjoys providing direct services, developing others, building strong programs, and working collaboratively across teams and disciplines.

What You’ll Do

· Lead and supervise members of the Therapy team, including onboarding, coaching, goal setting, professional development, and performance support.

· Maintain a client caseload with a portion of your time to provide evidence-based, trauma-focused therapy to children, adolescents, and caregivers.

· Provide clinical consultation and, when qualifications allow, clinical supervision to therapists, associates, and interns.

· Oversee daily program operations, including referrals, intake, waitlist management, case assignments, scheduling, and client access.

· Monitor caseloads, schedules, and team capacity to help ensure therapy services are available when children and families need them.

· Establish and track program goals related to clients served, services provided, outcomes, documentation, and overall program performance.

· Lead ongoing compliance with Oregon Health Authority Certificate of Approval requirements, including documentation, chart review, audits, and quality improvement activities.

· Coordinate insurance credentialing and recredentialing for eligible mental health providers and collaborate with billing, finance, and administrative partners.

· Track and provide program data for internal planning, grant reporting, evaluation, and continuous improvement.

· Represent the Therapy program in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain strong relationships with external partners.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

· Master’s degree in social work.

· Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Professional Licensed Counselor.

· Oregon Board-approved clinical supervisor status, or eligibility and willingness to obtain approved supervisor status.

· Experience supervising employees and supporting staff growth, development, and performance.

· Experience working with children, adolescents, families, trauma, abuse, or related populations.

· Strong clinical judgment and the ability to provide thoughtful guidance and consultation to others.

· Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.

· Ability to balance clinical care, staff supervision, program operations, documentation, and compliance responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience providing clinical supervision to therapists, associates, or interns.

· Experience in a Child Advocacy Center, nonprofit organization, community mental health program, or similar setting.

· Training or experience in TF-CBT, EMDR, PCIT, or other evidence-based treatment approaches appropriate for working with children who have experienced trauma.

· Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment.

· Familiarity with Oregon Health Authority behavioral health requirements and Certificate of Approval processes.

· Experience with behavioral health insurance credentialing or payer requirements.
