Role Overview

We are seeking a Thermal Systems Validation Engineer with a minimum of 1 -3 years of engineering or automotive testing/validation experience. The ideal candidate will have exposure to vehicle or system validation and a basic understanding of energy management, thermal management, heat transfer, thermodynamics, or related automotive systems.

This is a mid-level engineering position supporting vehicle testing, data collection, validation activities, troubleshooting, and analysis of vehicle thermal and energy-management performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of vehicle and system validation tests.
• Perform hands-on testing of automotive systems under different operating and environmental conditions.
• Support test vehicle preparation, instrumentation, and data collection.
• Monitor and analyze parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow, energy consumption, and system performance.
• Support validation of thermal management, cooling, HVAC, energy management, or related vehicle systems.
• Analyze test data and identify abnormal trends or performance issues.
• Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of test failures.
• Work with senior engineers to develop test procedures and test reports.
• Document test results, issues, and observations.
• Support regression and verification testing.
• Assist with vehicle testing at test facilities and proving grounds as required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve validation issues.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 1- 3 years of engineering, automotive testing, validation, or related experience.
• Basic understanding of automotive systems and vehicle testing.
• Basic knowledge of one or more of the following:
• Thermodynamics
• Heat Transfer
• Thermal Management
• Energy Management
• HVAC
• Cooling Systems
• Battery Thermal Management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret engineering test data.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a hands-on vehicle testing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with automotive validation or vehicle testing.
• Exposure to MATLAB/Simulink.
• Exposure to CANoe/CANalyzer or other automotive communication tools.
• Basic knowledge of CAN/CAN FD.
• Experience with data acquisition systems and vehicle instrumentation.
• Familiarity with automotive thermal systems, cooling circuits, HVAC, heat exchangers, pumps, or valves.
• Exposure to EV/Battery thermal management is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive test vehicles, if required.
