Job Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Thermal Validation Engineer with strong laboratory testing experience supporting electromechanical, telecom, and networking products .

The ideal candidate will have experience developing test setups, performing thermal and acoustic validation , working with prototypes, and documenting results in a structured engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare test setups, test flows, and test coverage for new products.
• Perform thermal validation and laboratory testing for electromechanical, telecom, and networking equipment.
• Set up and configure product prototypes for thermal and acoustic testing .
• Install and use thermocouples for temperature measurement and thermal characterization.
• Operate wind tunnels and related laboratory equipment during thermal validation.
• Perform testing related to power management, heat sinks, airflow, and fan-speed behavior .
• Support thermal analysis and validation of hardware designs.
• Conduct testing in accordance with applicable telecom standards, including GR and NEBS requirements .
• Document test results, findings, and recommendations through clear engineering reports.
• Collaborate with hardware and cross-functional engineering teams to troubleshoot thermal issues and improve product performance.
• Maintain accurate test records and technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with laboratory testing and thermal validation .
• Experience working with electromechanical, telecom, and/or networking products .
• Hands-on experience preparing thermal test setups and prototypes .
• Experience with thermocouple installation and thermal measurement .
• Familiarity with wind tunnel testing and laboratory validation equipment.
• Hardware engineering experience.
• Knowledge of telecom test standards , including GR and NEBS .
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for engineering reports, test documentation, and data presentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with power management validation .
• Experience supporting heat sink development and thermal characterization .
• Experience with fan-speed testing, airflow analysis, and cooling-system validation .
• Experience performing acoustic testing on hardware or telecom equipment.
• Background supporting validation of complex networking or telecommunications hardware .
