Time period

• From March 2027 for a period of 6 months

Tasks

• Conduct literature reviews, develop concepts, and perform simulations of system components (magnetic couplers, compensation networks, and power electronics) for inductive wireless power transfer systems (22 kW+)
• Build, commission, and characterize prototype systems
• Plan, coordinate, and execute experimental test campaigns

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an engineering degree program (Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field of study).
• Solid knowledge of electromagnetics/electrodynamics and common simulation methodologies on component and circuit level.
• Strong background in electrical engineering, particularly power electronics, as well as testing and measurement techniques.
• Basic knowledge of circuit design and PCB development is desirable.
• Good written and spoken German and English language skills.
