Salary: S$4,500 - S$7,000

Our client, a leading global company in the semiconductor manufacturing industry, is seeking a Thin Film Process Engineer to join their team.

【Responsibilities】

• Monitor and take ownership of day-to-day in-line SPC, defect, and equipment abnormalities, including timely handling and disposition.
• Manage productivity improvement projects, particularly for new processes, by utilising process characteristic analysis tools to optimise process conditions and enhance technology.
• Establish and optimise process parameters for a variety of semiconductor equipment to ensure line stability.
• Evaluate and support the development of new equipment, materials, and processes.

【Requirements & Preferences】
(Must)

• Minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in semiconductor foundry module processes.
• Fluent in Chinese to liaise with internal and external Chinese stakeholders
• Strong understanding of process development, optimisation, and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects related to process improvement or technology transfer.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex process issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Willingness to work shifts. (Shift schedules vary by department and are assigned by the respective manager, with shifts not occurring frequently; further details will be explained during the interview.)

(Advantageous)

• Experience with 22nm/28nm and below advanced technology nodes will be an added advantage.
• Experience with SPC, 8D reporting, DOE, FMEA, and PMO is preferred.
