Third Party Inspection Pressure Vessels and Boilers

Provide qualified inspector(s) to inspect operating coded and noncoded boilers, pressure vessels, and associated pressure/safety relief valves/devices for certificate type inspections; including R-Stamp and U-Stamp type certifications. Perform consultation services, provide inspections as required, and completing inspection certification reports. The projects receiving TPI (Third Party Inspections) services shall provide, or arrange to provide, the tools including measuring and test equipment (M&TE) and personnel to operate such equipment to examine inside of the pressure vessels and boilers, as applicable. The inspector shall review the program, qualifications of personnel, and M&TE calibration records prior to validating any measurements for certification. Assign a primary inspector and a back-up inspector. Provide an inspection within a 2-week time frame from request.

The following qualifications are pertinent. American National Standards Institute (ANSI); National Board Inspection Code for Boilers and Pressure Vessels (NB). American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Sections I, IV, VIII and Wi; Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 29 CFR 1910.169, 29 CFR 1926.306. Boiler and Machinery Inspection Specialist must be Certified by National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors.

Please note there are numerous Hanford training requirements and on-site badge must be required to perform inspections.

Pay: $75.00 - $150.00 per hour
