Third Party IVF Nurse

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Work closely with physicians and staff to provide exceptional, compassionate patient care.

• Collaborate with Third Party Reproduction Coordinators for cases where a donor, embryo or gestational carrier/surrogate is needed.

• Collaborate with financial coordinators, insurance companies, pharmacies, physicians, staff, and others as necessary to coordinate patient’s complete care and service.

• Perform phlebotomy and process/send out labs as needed.

• Perform procedures within the RN scope of practice and company policies.

• Assist with clerical and other office duties as needed.

• Work closely with, and serve as a clinical resource for, other coordinators on the Third-Party team, IVF staff, FCI physicians, and FCI home office nurses.

• Take ownership of the care of donors, recipients, gestational carriers/surrogates, and intended parents through the entire process. This involves consults, screening, synching cycles, ordering and explaining meds, giving schedules, keeping an eye on their cycles once taken over by IVF, following up on outcomes, reviewing donors for re-acceptance, and addressing all questions and concerns.

• Collaborate with agencies, attorneys, psychologists, financial coordinators, and others throughout the process.

• Assist with all Third-Party programs as needed.

• Learn, follow, and keep up-to-date with FDA regulations and ASRM guidelines related to Third Party.

• Counseling patients about all details of Third-Party Reproduction and the steps in the process.

• Maintaining the parties’ anonymity and confidentiality.

• Assess for needed improvements or changes in the program, and participate in the solutions

• Review Gestational Carriers OB records with MD

• Review Egg Donor records with MD

• Coordinate ERAs with Recipients and Gestational Carriers

• Email FDA kit requisitions

• Email Lab and ultrasound requisitions to agencies on all outside monitoring donors and gestational carriers.

• Schedule evaluation appointments for Egg donors including nursing consult, injection class, donor risk questionnaires, consent signing.

• Schedule evaluation appointments for Gestational Carriers including injection class, consent signing etc.

• Order medications for all patients including pre-evaluation meds for Hysteroscopies and birth control pills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $53.00 per hour

Experience:

• Third party IVF nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
• IVF: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Required)
