Third Shift Assistant Supervisor

MVP Disc Sports is a sporting goods company located in Marlette, Michigan. We are a growing company with a mission to be the leading edge in technology and innovation in all areas of disc golf and are a wholesale supplier for disc golf stores around the world.

We are looking to add a dependable and effective leader to our 3rd shift team, working Monday through Friday from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. MVP offers a $2.00 per hour shift premium for employees working third shift.

Our Assistant Supervisors are resources for employees to discuss concerns and policies and help implement a chain of command. They work alongside the Shift Supervisor to maintain high productivity and operation standards while setting a strong example for the rest of the team.

Responsibilities of this position include:

• Coordinating with the Shift Supervisor to achieve department goals and meet deadlines.
• Monitoring employee performance and ensuring standards are met.
• Assigning tasks and providing direction to operators.
• Assisting in the training of new employees.
• Providing feedback to promote a positive and productive work environment.
• Serving as a resource for employee questions and concerns and supporting established company policies and procedures.
• Communicating concerns, performance issues, and operational needs through the appropriate chain of command.
• Operating presses and standard and motorized pallet jacks as needed.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience, with 2–3 years preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to provide direction and address workplace concerns professionally.
• Experience with standard and motorized pallet jacks preferred.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift and climb ladders as needed.

Pay: $21.00 per hour
