Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Thermoforming and Extrusion Engineer located in Lagos. The role involves overseeing and optimizing the thermoforming and extrusion processes for the manufacturing of paper plates. Responsibilities include managing production operations, ensuring quality standards, troubleshooting machinery, and implementing continuous process improvements. The engineer will collaborate closely with the production team to enhance efficiency and meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Manufacturing Engineering and Mechanical Engineering principles
• Proficiency in Project Management and the ability to organize production schedules and resources
• Exceptional Analytical Skills to assess processes and recommend improvements
• Effective Communication skills to collaborate with team members and management
• Experience in operational manufacturing environments, specifically involving thermoforming and extrusion, is preferred
• Formal education in Engineering or related fields, with relevant certifications being a plus
• Ability to work in an on-site, hands-on capacity in Lagos
• Attention to detail and a strong focus on safety and quality assurance
