iCookAsia Digital is a food marketing agency in Malaysia, bringing food content, social media, creator campaigns, video production and food media together in one team for F&B brands.

About the role

Grow and run Threads accounts for iCookAsia and our food brand clients. Post daily, start conversations, reply fast and turn followers into a community. We want someone who lives on Threads, knows what people are talking about today and can join the conversation before it moves on.

What you will do

• Plan and publish daily Threads posts for iCookAsia and client food brands
• Write hooks, threads, polls and replies that start conversations and get people talking
• Watch trends, news and viral topics in Malaysia every day, and jump on the right ones quickly
• Reply to comments, mentions and DMs promptly and keep conversations going
• Work with our Content team to repurpose videos and posts for Threads
• Track followers, reach, replies and reposts, and share a short monthly report on what worked

What we are looking for

• Threads accounts you have grown yourself, with numbers to show it (followers, reach, engagement)
• Always in the loop: you know what's trending, what people are talking about and the latest memes
• Very responsive: Threads moves in real time, so you reply quickly, including outside normal office hours when a conversation is live
• Strong, natural writing in Bahasa Malaysia and English, with the casual Malaysian tone that works on Threads
• A real interest in food and in the food scene in Malaysia
• Reliable and consistent: you post on schedule without being chased

Bonus points

• Experience managing brand accounts, not just a personal one
• Also active on X or TikTok
• Basic Canva skills for simple visuals
• Experience with scheduling tools such as Meta Business Suite

Working arrangement

Freelance or part-time, fully remote. Monthly check-in with our Content team, plus quick coordination on WhatsApp when needed.

Monthly retainer per account. You start with one account, with the opportunity to take on more of our food brand clients over time.
