Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to three-year-olds, incorporating literacy education, math, physical activity, and social skills.
• Create engaging lesson plans that stimulate curiosity and support developmental milestones in early childhood.
• Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques.
• Foster a safe, inclusive environment that promotes child welfare and emotional well-being.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share progress, address concerns, and collaborate on supporting each child's growth.
• Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of each child's development and activities.
• Incorporate early intervention strategies when necessary to support children with special education needs or developmental delays.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of child development principles specific to toddlers aged three years old.
• Experience working with children in preschool or childcare settings, including classroom experience with young learners.
• Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
• Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and childhood welfare standards.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
• Knowledge of mandated reporting laws, first aid and CPR certification for emergency preparedness.
• Ability to implement standardized testing methods when assessing developmental progress or academic skills such as literacy and math.
• Experience teaching physical education activities suitable for toddlers to promote motor skills development.
