Thrift Shop Volunteer

The Arc of Atlantic County has been providing valuable services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families since 1961. We serve approximately 1,000 people in a variety of programs. Our residential programs include group homes, supervised apartments, and supported living options. Many of the people we serve are living in the community with their families and receive our case management and family support services. Other community-based programs include and adult day program, support coordination, sports and recreation programs, and supported employment services. No Experience Necessary Our Vision is that people have the opportunities and support they need to live the lives they choose. That means you too! We believe that anyone with a desire to volunteer has something to offer. While some positions have specific skills required, most simply require you to be yourself. Your volunteer work is based on your skills and interests and is matched with the current needs of our programs.

Volunteer in beautiful Ventnor this Summer!

The Arc Makes Cents Thrift Shop is looking for friendly volunteers to sort donations, help customers, and keep the store organized. How often you volunteer is up to you, but help is very much appreciated on Fridays and Saturdays.

The shop is located at 6409 Ventnor Avenue in Ventnor City, NJ, and is open Monday to Saturday from 10 00 am to 5 00 pm, and Sundays from 11 00 am to 3 00 pm.
