As part of the Manson Northwest Webster Community School District, THRIVE supports students' social, emotional, mental health, and academic needs by establishing Healthy Habits and building Resilience through individualized and inclusive practices.

Our goal is not just treatment - but growth, stabilization, and successful reintegration into students' resident school districts.

Position Summary We are seeking a Full-Time School-Based Therapist to provide individual and group therapy services within our K–12 school setting. This position is a critical part of THRIVE's multidisciplinary approach, working closely with educators, support staff, families, resident districts, and community partners to address students' mental health needs in a holistic, coordinated manner.

  • Provide individual and group therapy aligned to students' therapeutic goals.
  • Respond to and support crisis intervention needs as they arise.
  • Collaborate with instructional and support staff to align therapeutic and educational interventions.
  • Serve on student support and problem-solving teams to develop comprehensive intervention plans.
  • Act as a liaison to community-based services and external treatment providers as needed.
  • Provide mental health education, workshops, or presentations for staff, students, or families.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and records.
  • Ensure compliance with state, local, and ethical regulations, including confidentiality requirements.
  • Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans and make adjustments as needed.
  • Perform other program-related duties that support student success and school operations.

What We're Looking For

  • A student-centered, trauma-informed clinician who values collaboration in a school setting.
  • Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.
  • Flexibility, professionalism, and a commitment to ethical, strengths-based practice.
  • Passion for supporting students with complex social-emotional and mental health needs.

  • Iowa licensure as one of the following:
