Ticketing Executive

Position Summary

The Ticketing Executive is responsible for booking flight /bus/train tickets and handle reservations for customers. Ticketing Executives directly interact with customers, address customer queries about flight/bus/train timings, seat availability, fares, reservations etc.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

· Knowledge of GDS(Global Distribution System) & end to end ticketing, rescheduling & refund process

· Scheduling flights/bus/train based on customer needs and availability, including checking weather conditions and making changes as needed

· Communicating with customers to answer questions about tickets, pricing, or flight/bus/train schedules

· After ticket booking sharing the billing details to Accounts department for generating invoices

· Collecting payment from customers for flight/bus/train tickets, including cash, credit card transactions, cheques, or money orders

· Entering customer information into a computer system to issue tickets or update records

· Ticketing jobs that involves processing electronic ticketing requests for customers or agents over the phone

· Explaining airport rules and procedures to passengers prior to boarding flights, Explaining applicable fees and taxes for each ticket

· Processing boarding passes and checking identification of passengers prior to allowing them to enter the airport terminal

Education, Experience, Training and Special Skill

· Previous experience in Travel Industry(Customer Support/Schedule Change) for at least 1year in Domestic/ International markets.

· Knowledge of GDS

· Knowledge of IATA Geography with Major Cities, Airports and Airlines Codes

· Knowledge of Global indicators, Different types of Fares & Fare Rules

· Attention to detail, quick learner skills, and a high sense of responsibility

· Ability to perform well under pressure

· Strong English level (both written and spoken)

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
