We are seeking a versatile, highly organized, and detail-oriented Ticketing Cum Accountant to join our team. This dual-function role requires a professional who can seamlessly balance financial management with day-to-day travel ticketing operations.

If you have proven accounting experience in the travel industry, hands-on experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS), and strong multitasking abilities, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance:

• Maintain daily accounting records, general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Process invoicing, supplier payments, customer billing, and travel refunds.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations, BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan) reconciliations, and supplier statement checks.
• Prepare basic financial reports and assist with tax documentation (e.g., GST / VAT).

Ticketing & Travel Operations:

• Issue, re-issue, re-route, and cancel flight tickets and travel bookings using GDS platforms or B2B portals.
• Handle customer inquiries regarding itineraries, fare rules, baggage allowances, and schedule changes.
• Coordinate with airlines, consolidators, and local suppliers to secure competitive fares and resolve booking issues.
• Calculate and process ticket refunds, credit shells, and cancellation penalties accurately.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in an accounting role strictly within the Travel & Tourism industry (Required).
• GDS Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or major B2B travel portals (Required).
• Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books) and MS Excel.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of BSP settlement, airline commissions, fare rules, and travel accounting.
• Skills: Excellent multitasking skills, strong numerical accuracy, and clear communication abilities.
