Tier 2 SOC ANALYST (Incident Investigation Analyst)

NTT DATA is seeking a Tier 2 SOC Analyst to lead advanced security investigations, validate threats, and support incident response activities across a dynamic enterprise environment. What You'll Do

• Conduct in-depth investigations and forensic analysis of security incidents escalated from Tier 1 analysts.
• Correlate logs and data across multiple security platforms to confirm threats and assess business impact.
• Analyze malware, phishing attacks, identity compromises, and attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
• Recommend containment and remediation actions while supporting recovery efforts.
• Lead moderate-severity incidents and coordinate with infrastructure, application, and security teams.
• Mentor Tier 1 analysts, review escalations, and contribute to SOC playbooks and process improvements.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor of Science degree in IT or equivalent
• 3-6 years of cybersecurity experience in SOC operations, threat detection, incident response, or security investigations.
• Strong expertise in SIEM investigations, endpoint security, and network traffic analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender XDR, CrowdStrike Falcon, Azure Security, and Microsoft 365 Security.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and advanced threat investigation techniques.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, root cause analysis, and technical reporting skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• SC-200, CySA+, GCIH, GCIA, or similar cybersecurity certifications are highly desirable.
