Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced TIG Welder to perform high-quality welding and fabrication work as per engineering drawings, welding procedures, and quality standards. The candidate should have practical experience in TIG welding, material preparation, and inspection of welded components.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium, and other metals as required.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and work instructions.
• Set up and operate TIG welding machines and related equipment.
• Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, cleaning, and aligning components before welding.
• Ensure proper weld quality, accuracy, and finishing as per specifications.
• Inspect weld joints for cracks, porosity, distortion, and other defects.
• Follow welding procedures, quality standards, and production schedules.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper use of tools and consumables.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Coordinate with the production and quality teams to achieve production targets.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Welding, Fabrication, or a related technical field preferred.
• 2–5 years of practical TIG welding experience preferred.
• Knowledge of TIG welding machines, filler rods, shielding gases, and welding parameters.
• Ability to read basic engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of metal preparation, joint fit-up, and weld finishing.
• Understanding of welding quality and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in stainless steel and thin-sheet welding.
• Knowledge of aluminium welding, if required.
• Familiarity with welding inspection and quality requirements.
• Relevant welding certifications will be an advantage.
