Job Overview:

The TikTok Content Creator is responsible for creating high-volume, engaging short-form video content that supports PatPat’s TikTok channel and business goals.

Based in Los Angeles, this hands-on role will source and coordinate models, identify shoot locations, film daily TikTok content, and complete light editing for fast-turnaround publishing. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for social-first content, understands what performs on TikTok, and can turn product, trends, and creator-style concepts into polished clips quickly.

This role reports to the Head of US Marketing and partners closely with the TikTok team to support daily channel needs and content priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Create and film multiple TikTok videos each day, including product-focused, trend-led, lifestyle, family, and creator-style content.
• Source and coordinate models, creators, families, and talent for TikTok shoots.
• Identify and secure appropriate shoot locations across Los Angeles based on content needs.
• Develop content ideas informed by TikTok trends, platform behavior, seasonal moments, and channel performance.
• Shoot high-quality vertical video using professional cameras and mobile-first equipment.
• Complete light video editing, including clip selection, pacing, transitions, text overlays, music, and basic color correction.
• Work closely with the TikTok team to translate campaign priorities and product needs into daily content.
• Maintain an organized library of raw footage, edited assets, and shoot details.
• Stay current on TikTok trends, features, creators, sounds, and best practices, as well as relevant Douyin trends when applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience creating, filming, and editing short-form social content for TikTok, Reels, or similar platforms.
• Professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required. Familiarity with Douyin is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of TikTok content formats, trends, pacing, and audience behavior.
• Excellent videography skills, including framing, lighting, movement, and shooting product and lifestyle content.
• Experience sourcing and coordinating models, creators, talent, and shoot locations.
• Proficiency with mobile and desktop editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with daily production needs and quick turnaround times.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple shoots, priorities, and deadlines.
• Experience in fashion, apparel, beauty, kids, family, or lifestyle content is preferred.
• Must be based in or able to work from Los Angeles.

Pay: $29.79 - $35.87 per hour
