Tile designer

In Home Stone is seeking a motivated and creative Tile Sales Designer to join our team. This full-time, base plus commission role that combines sales experience with design insight, guiding homeowners, designers, and contractors through the tile and stone selection process. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, strong customer service skills, and the ability to manage projects from product selection to delivery. Key Responsibilities:

1. Greeting and assisting clients in warm, professional manner

2. Monitor and track customer orders; provide timely updates on product availability and delivery

3. Schedule and follow up on appointments via phone and email.

4. Learn installation/products process to educate customers

5. Communicate detailed product information, including features, benefits, and installation options.

6. Follow up on customer inquiries, and handle returns professionally and efficiently.

7. Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and store goals.

8. Manage the full sales process by finalizing product selections, confirming availability based on project schedules, submitting and tracking purchase orders, and coordinating delivery or pickup of project materials.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Prior experience in tile, stone, flooring, or home design sales.
• Familiarity with interior design trends, materials, and finishes.
• Experience with basic design plans, blueprints, or layouts.
