Tile Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tile Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring and wall tiles across residential, commercial, and restoration projects. Duties

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute tile installation projects.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or primers for optimal tile adhesion.
• Install various types of flooring including ceramic, porcelain, vinyl, epoxy, hardwood, carpet, and other building materials with precision.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and lay tiles according to specifications.
• Perform floor refinishing tasks such as buffing and water damage restoration to restore surfaces to their original condition.
• Ensure compliance with building installation safety standards during all phases of work.
• Assist with related tasks such as drywall installation, caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and remodeling projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction estimating, flooring installation (including tile laying), epoxy floor installation, and related building material work.
• Strong knowledge of construction site safety protocols and building installation safety compliance.
• Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans for accurate project execution.
• Proficient with hand tools and power tools used in flooring and carpentry work.
• Experience with water damage restoration, floor care techniques, drywall finishing, caulking, cabinet installation, and remodeling is highly desirable.
• Ability to handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy materials safely and efficiently.
• Construction experience across various industries including restoration or general contracting is preferred.
