Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for laying tiles in various residential and commercial settings, ensuring precise and durable finishes. This role requires proficiency in handling hand tools, power tools, and carpentry techniques to deliver high-quality results. The Tile Installer will work closely with clients and team members to complete projects efficiently and to specifications.

Duties

• Lay tiles accurately according to project plans and specifications
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and measuring to ensure proper tile adhesion
• Use hand tools such as trowels, chisels, and cutters to cut and shape tiles as needed
• Operate power tools including tile saws, drills, and grinders for efficient installation
• Apply adhesives, grout, and sealants to secure tiles and finish surfaces professionally
• Perform carpentry tasks related to tile installation, such as framing or creating support structures when necessary
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials properly
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes

Requirements

• Proven experience in tile laying or similar construction roles
• Proficiency with hand tools used in tile installation
• Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively
• Basic carpentry skills relevant to tile installation projects
• Strong attention to detail and precision in measuring and cutting tiles
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials regularly
• Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability on job sites
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
