TILE INSTALLER FOR COMMERICAL FLOORING CONTRACTOR

Duties

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary primers or adhesives to ensure optimal adhesion.
• Install grout /tile.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and secure flooring materials according to specifications.
• Ensure all installation work complies with building material standards and safety regulations related to construction site safety protocols.
• Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience
• Valid drivers license and personal vehicle
• Proven experience in flooring installation within commercial construction settings; familiarity with tile laying a must.
• Proficiency with hand tools such as trowels, chisels, cutters as well as power tools including saws and drills.
• Ability to manually handle building materials safely while maintaining attention to detail throughout the project lifecycle.
• Knowledge of building installation safety compliance standards; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment on all projects.
• Construction site experience.
• Excellent communication skills for interpreting technical instructions and collaborating effectively with team members.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
