Tile Mason – Facilities Management

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Tile Mason to join our Facilities Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out tile installation, repair, replacement, and maintenance works across residential, commercial, and facility management sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out floor and wall tile installation, repair, and replacement works.
• Remove damaged or broken tiles and prepare surfaces for replacement.
• Measure and cut tiles accurately according to site requirements.
• Apply adhesive, cement, grout, and other materials correctly.
• Install ceramic, porcelain, marble, and other types of tiles as required.
• Repair loose, cracked, broken, or damaged tiles.
• Ensure proper alignment, level, spacing, and finishing of tiles.
• Carry out tile maintenance and corrective repair works as assigned.
• Keep the work area clean and safe during and after completion.
• Use hand tools and tile-cutting equipment safely and correctly.
• Coordinate with the FM Supervisor and other technicians to complete assigned works.
• Report material requirements and additional repair requirements to the supervisor.
• Follow company safety procedures and site requirements at all times.

Qualifications & Skills

• ITI, Trade Certificate, or relevant experience in Tile Masonry.
• Previous experience as a Tile Mason, preferably in Facilities Management, maintenance, construction, or fit-out.
• Good knowledge of tile installation and repair techniques.
• Ability to measure, cut, and install tiles accurately.
• Knowledge of adhesives, grout, cement, and basic waterproofing requirements.
• Good finishing skills and attention to detail.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

• UAE experience in Facilities Management or building maintenance.
• Experience working in residential, commercial, or large facilities.
• Experience in tile repair and replacement works.
• Ability to join immediately is an advantage.
