Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Tile Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems, with a focus on tile roofing. Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and replace tile roofing systems following construction plans and technical drawings
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as ladders and scaffolding to perform roofing tasks
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation of roofing materials including metal roofing and single-ply membrane roofing
• Conduct roofing repairs, siding installation, stucco application, caulking, and trim carpentry as needed for remodeling projects
• Adhere strictly to construction safety regulations by using safety harnesses, proper ladder use techniques, and other safety protocols to prevent accidents
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while maintaining proper posture and safety standards
• Collaborate with team members on construction site activities, interpret technical plans, and ensure project timelines are met efficiently

Skills

• Extensive construction experience with a focus on roofing installation and repair
• Proficiency in roofing materials such as tile, metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, siding, stucco, and trim carpentry
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings
• Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations including the proper use of safety harnesses and ladder safety practices
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively
• Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions with outdoor work experience preferred
• Knowledge of construction site experience including adhering to safety protocols and managing multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
