Tile/Flooring Super Intendent

The role

You run your assigned jobs start to finish across our Southwest Florida service area. You own the outcome — crews have what they need, the schedule holds, the client stays in the loop, and every job is documented in Jobber. Customer Communication is extremely important.

What you own

You take full responsibility for your jobs. If something goes wrong, you fix it. If there's a repair, you schedule it and see it through. The job does not stall because of you.

• Keep jobs moving — no delays on your end

Day-to-day

• Scheduling — schedule your assigned jobs and coordinate start dates with crews and clients
• Job oversight & check-ins — stay on top of active jobs, catch problems early, handle issues on site
• Site assessments — evaluate the job/site so the crew walks into no surprises
• Installer POC — main point of contact for the installer crews
• Client POC — main point of contact for GCs, builders, and Homeowners
• Documentation — keep job notes, site pictures, and receipt photos current
• Reviews on site — collect the customer review at job completion
• Communication — keep crews and clients updated on timing and anything that comes up
• Physical demands — this is a hands-on job. You'll lift weight and get dirty as you’re loading or unloading the trailers

Jobber (used daily)

Keep every assigned job updated:

• Update job stages on the job page as work gets done
• Update the job title when the stage changes
• Put jobs on the schedule when booked, and adjust when timing or scheduling changes
• Check Jobber to stay updated with the rest of the schedule and the installer crews

Must-haves

• Based in Port Charlotte
• 2–3 years tile installation and handyman experience — can replace a tile and understands a bit of every trade
• Can hitch, tow, and park a trailer in driveways
• Comfortable learning and using software daily — Jobber especially
• Can run a forklift — ours is manual, expect to use it a lot
• Strong communicator, customer-service minded
• Willing to drive long distances — our territory runs Port Charlotte up through Sarasota
• Own truck capable of towing a trailer — we're expanding our fleet, but for now this role requires a personal truck rated to tow (fuel card provided)
