Duties

• Operate cash registers accurately, handling cash, credit/debit card payments, and mobile transactions with precision.
• Assist customers with their purchases by providing product information and recommendations through upselling techniques.
• Maintain an organized checkout area, ensuring all merchandise is properly displayed and stocked for quick access.
• Communicate effectively with customers using excellent phone etiquette and active listening skills to address inquiries or concerns.
• Manage time efficiently during busy periods to minimize wait times and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Support merchandising efforts by restocking shelves and organizing displays to promote sales.
• Uphold store policies on safety, security, and loss prevention while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and giving correct change.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage checkout procedures smoothly.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
