Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of food items according to established recipes and quality standards
• Operate the cash register or point-of-sale system accurately, handling transactions efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety regulations
• Serve customers promptly with friendly, professional service, ensuring a positive experience
• Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the kitchen well-equipped for daily operations
• Follow all health and safety guidelines during food preparation and serving processes
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or similar setting is preferred
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food safety practices, and meal preparation techniques is highly desirable
• Proven ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of serving protocols and customer service excellence
• Prior experience working in a busy food service environment will be considered an asset
