What they need

Timber Warehouse Superstar!

Full-Time | Hands-On | Keep the Yard Flowing and the Timber Moving!

Love being on the go, being the person who keeps everything moving and seeing results?

Baywood, a family-owned timber mill based in Maryborough, has been a trusted supplier and manufacturer of quality timber products for the construction market since 1989. We’re dedicated to our people, our values, and maintaining a strong safety culture — and thanks to continued business growth, we’re expanding.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a full-time, permanent Timber Warehouse Coordinator at our Geebung warehouse — perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on role and takes pride in their work. You’ll enjoy stability, variety and job satisfaction.

This is a role for someone who enjoys being on the go and hands on — you’ll be the first point of contact for customers and suppliers, on the forklift loading and unloading trucks and keeping on top of everything that happens in the warehouse.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to support daily warehouse and distribution activities.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently for dispatch.
  • Load customer vehicles, transport carriers, and courier deliveries safely while maintaining high service standards.
  • Receive, unload, and verify incoming deliveries, ensuring stock is accurately checked, recorded, and stored.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stocktakes, stock reconciliation, and completion of supporting documentation including dockets, consignment notes, and inventory records.
  • Coordinate freight and transport bookings, liaising with suppliers, customers, and transport providers to ensure timely and efficient dispatch of goods.
  • Provide administrative support through the use of Microsoft Office applications and inventory management systems, ensuring accurate data entry, reporting, and record keeping.
  • Build effective working relationships and communicate professionally with customers, sales teams, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders via phone, email, and electronic communication.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, safe, and well-presented warehouse and site environment in line with company and safety standards.

About You

You're someone who:

  • Can work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities.
  • Has experience in warehousing, timber, building materials, or a similar industry (experience running a small warehouse is highly regarded).
  • Takes initiative, identifies issues early, and looks for practical solutions.
  • Communicates professionally with customers, drivers, and team members.
  • Has strong practical skills and the ability to safely handle and move products and equipment.
  • Brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and pride in your work.
  • Lives our values of Always A Way, Care Factor, Fix What Bugs You, Makin' Sawdust, and TimberLife.
  • Is physically fit and capable of manual handling duties, including picking, packing, and moving timber products.
  • Is computer literate and confident using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Teams) and inventory management systems. Experience with Fishbowl is highly regarded.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

At Baywood, we’re more than just a timber business — we’re a family of people who take pride in what we do and how we do it. Here’s why our team loves working here:

  • Our Values: TimberLife, Care Factor, There’s Always A Way, Makin’ Sawdust, and Fix What Bugs You. They shape how we work, how we treat each other and our commitment to our customers.
  • Safety Focus: Your safety is our top priority.
  • Supportive Work Environment: A positive, respectful, and inclusive team culture with open communication and collaboration at every level.
  • Work / Life Balance: Join a supportive workplace that recognises that life happens — with the flexibility you need to manage the things that matter outside of work.
  • Rewards & Recognition: Competitive pay, annual reviews, and regular recognition for your contribution — from paid birthday leave to team events and celebrations.
  • Growth & Development: Opportunities to learn and advance through industry-recognised programs with AIM, NTHA, and Timber Queensland.

If you’ve got drive, energy, and pride in your work — and you’re ready to live Baywood’s values every day — APPLY NOW!
