Hours: 19.5 hours per week total
**Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday - 6.5 hours per day 
Status: Fixed term -**ending 15.12.2026.  *May cease employment prior to this date with one week notice if children with funding leave the service/funding stops.
Hourly rate: $32.47, Level 1.1 (VOTTEA Award)

We’re are looking for an Additional Assistant Educator to support our team in the 3 and 4 year old kindergarten program on a fixed-term basis. 

Role Overview: As an Additional Assistant Educator at Timbertop Kindergarten, you will play a vital role in supporting children with additional needs and ensuring their active participation in our Kindergarten program. Working collaboratively within our team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support children with additional needs to fully engage in the kindergarten program.
• Assist in the implementation of educational activities and experiences that promote children's learning and development.
• Collaborate effectively with the teaching team to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing atmosphere for all children in our care.

Requirements:

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and care
• Minimum 1 year experience as an educator in an early childhood setting
• Current Working with Children Check
• National Police Clearance no older than 6 months
• Sessional Kindergarten Experience desirable
• Mandatory reporting and Child Safe training certificates
