DESCRIPTION

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.
You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
The AWS Brick and Network Deployment (BaND) team is searching for a passionate and talented technical program manager to lead prototype engagements, from discovery through the deployment of a commercially ready process used for new technology deployments within AWS data centers globally. You will also lead programs with partner teams in defining prototype deployment trials, strategic planning and development, documenting the operational plans for production deployment and support partner teams in the integration of new hardware technologies into the AWS Network. You will interface with Networking leadership and Infra leadership, to define requirements and establish timelines for deployment. You will need to be proactive in communicating the project plans and milestone accomplishments and ensure alignment with our internal customers with regards to execution of the new deployment plans, management of defects, and rapid delivery of new technology deployment in an agile environment.
