Tire and Lube Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tire and Lube Technician to join our Trail Tire automotive service team. This role is essential in providing efficient vehicle maintenance services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting overall operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position also has the opportunity to grow into a leadership roll as we build out this location. Consideration may also be given to individuals who align with our core values and have aptitude for the required training.

Duties

• Perform routine oil changes and lubrication services on a variety of vehicle makes and models
• Inspect vehicles for potential issues related to fluid levels, filters, belts, and hoses
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance tasks accurately and efficiently
• Assist with basic automotive repairs as needed, including tire rotations and brake inspections
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining services required and addressing customer questions
• Promote additional maintenance or repair services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and or safety.

Requirements

• Prior dealership or mechanical experience is highly preferred
• Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various positions for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

This position offers an opportunity to develop technical skills within a supportive team environment while contributing to the safety and satisfaction of our customers.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
