Tire and Lube Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Tire and Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. This role involves performing tire replacements, oil changes, and basic vehicle maintenance to ensure customer safety and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and experience working with automotive repair tools and equipment. Duties

• Perform tire rotations, replacements, and repairs efficiently and safely
• Conduct oil changes and fluid top-offs using appropriate tools and procedures
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and communicate findings to customers or supervisors
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment to complete repairs
• Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as brake inspections, belt replacements, and battery checks
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to adhere to safety standards
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions or concerns
• Promote additional services or products when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales

Requirements

• Previous dealership or mechanic experience is preferred but not required; relevant automotive repair knowledge is essential
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive maintenance equipment
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) as part of daily tasks
• Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of vehicle systems and repairs
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving automotive technologies

Pay: $17.60-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 44.0 per week
