Tire Handler - Shipper/Receiver

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Tire Shipper & Receiver to join our team.

This is a hands-on, physical position responsible for receiving, organizing, storing, pulling, and preparing tires and wheels for shipment and customer orders. A large portion of the job is performed outdoors, working between shipping containers in all seasons.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming tire and wheel shipments
• Unload and verify deliveries
• Tag and identify tires accurately
• Put tires away in the correct storage locations
• Pull tires and wheels from storage for customer orders and shop appointments
• Wrap, strap, and prepare tires and wheels for shipping
• Organize outgoing shipments
• Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Keep tire storage containers and work areas organized
• Move and stack tires safely throughout the day
• Help maintain accurate inventory locations
• Assist with general warehouse and yard duties as required

What We're Looking For

• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working outdoors in hot, cold, wet, and snowy conditions
• Physically capable of regularly lifting and moving tires and wheels
• Able to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail when tagging, receiving, and pulling products
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, automotive, tire, or general labour experience is an asset
• Valid driver's licence is an asset

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding position. Applicants should be comfortable:

• Regularly lifting approximately 30–70 lbs
• Moving and stacking tires throughout the day
• Standing and walking for most of the shift
• Working outdoors between storage containers
• Working in varying weather conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: In person – Peterborough, Ontario

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
