Tire Technician

Overview

Next Mile Tire Service is looking for a dependable, hardworking Tire Technician to join our mobile service team. This position will work alongside and assist our Lead Technician with tire services performed at customers’ homes, workplaces, and other locations throughout Northwest Arkansas and Southwest Missouri.

We’re looking for someone who knows their way around tires, takes pride in doing the job right, and works well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Technician with daily mobile tire service appointments.
• Mount and dismount tires.
• Balance tires and wheels.
• Perform tire rotations.
• Assist with flat repairs and tire inspections.
• Assist with TPMS service and troubleshooting.
• Safely lift, move, load, and unload tires and equipment.
• Help maintain an organized, clean, and fully stocked service van.
• Properly use and care for tire service tools and equipment.
• Inspect tires for wear, damage, and potential safety concerns.
• Follow company procedures and safety standards.
• Provide friendly, professional service when interacting with customers.
• Assist the Lead Technician with additional tasks as needed throughout the workday.

Qualifications

• Tire service experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of tire mounting, balancing, rotations, and flat repair.
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to safely operate tire service equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and moving tires.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a two-person mobile service team.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from the Lead Technician.
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass applicable background and driving-record requirements.

What We’re Looking For

This is not a Lead Technician position. The Tire Technician will work closely with our Lead Technician to keep appointments running efficiently and ensure every customer receives the level of service we expect at Next Mile.

We want someone who shows up ready to work, pays attention to the details, takes care of our equipment and customers, and wants to grow with a locally owned business.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
