Title Examiner (Remote)

Meister is a title and abstract company based in New York. We are hiring an experienced title examiner with multi-state experience to work from home.

Responsibilities:

• Examine title searches, deeds, mortgages and other recorded documents across multiple states

• Read and type title commitments and requirements

• Flag liens, defects and curative items for closers

• Work with our closing team to keep files moving

Requirements:

• Prior title examining experience in multiple states (national experience preferred)

• Strong commitment reading and typing skills

• Detail oriented, reliable, able to work independently
