Michigan Licensed Title Producer

NexGen Title Company is looking for an experienced Michigan Licensed Title Producer to join our growing team. This is a fully remote position, with our office located in Warren, Michigan. Local Metro Detroit applicants are preferred.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Title Producer who can independently manage title production and related tasks from start to finish. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of Michigan title practices, is comfortable working remotely, and can efficiently navigate title software and technology platforms.

Qualia experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Produce and manage residential and commercial title work from opening through completion.
• Perform and review title searches and examinations.
• Prepare and review title commitments and related documentation.
• Prepare and issue title policies as applicable.
• Review title requirements and work to clear title issues and exceptions.
• Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate professionals, attorneys, and other parties involved in transactions.
• Handle seller-side title work, payoffs, and related documentation.
• Assist with deed preparation and review when necessary.
• Coordinate with closing and escrow personnel to ensure transactions remain on schedule.
• Maintain accurate and organized transaction files.
• Work efficiently within Qualia and other title/real-estate software platforms.
• Identify and resolve title issues while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and industry partners.
• Manage multiple files and deadlines independently in a remote work environment.
• Follow company procedures and applicable Michigan title requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Title Producer license is required.
• Minimum 3 years of title production experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Michigan title practices and procedures.
• Proficiency with Qualia is required.
• Experience with other title, closing, and real estate software platforms.
• Strong understanding of title commitments, requirements, exceptions, and title policies.
• Ability to identify and resolve title issues independently.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fully remote environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with the team.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position. Our office is located in Warren, Michigan, and candidates located in Metro Detroit/Michigan are preferred.

The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently, managing their own workload, and staying responsive to clients and team members while working remotely.

Pay: $43,595.00 - $67,662.18 per year
