该职位来源于猎聘 Position Summary The Data Center Chiller Cost Manager is responsible for improving the cost competitiveness of data center chiller products across the full product lifecycle.This role will lead cost-gap analysis, target-cost management, and cross-functional cost-reduction execution. The position must work closely with Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and Product Management to convert cost opportunities into implemented and financially validated savings. Key Responsibilities Product Cost Analysis Establish and maintain target cost, standard cost, actual cost, and competitive benchmark cost. Conduct cost breakdown and gap analysis by product, subsystem, and key component. Identify major cost drivers and develop cost-gap closure plans. Build should-cost models for key components and support supplier quotation analysis and negotiation. Analyze the cost impact of materials, design choices, sourcing strategies, manufacturing, logistics, and quality. Cross-Functional Cost Reduction Lead annual and long-term cost-reduction planning. Translate cost targets into clear actions, owners, timelines, and expected savings. Drive initiatives including VAVE, Design-to-Cost, design simplification, standardization, localization, dual sourcing, supplier negotiation, and manufacturing productivity improvement. Chair regular cost reviews and resolve cross-functional blockers. Ensure initiatives are completed through validation, engineering change, supplier qualification, price update, and Finance confirmation. New Product Target Cost Define target cost based on market price, product positioning, and margin requirements. Break down target cost to systems, subsystems, and key components. Track cost performance throughout product development. Challenge over-specification, unnecessary complexity, and non-standard designs. Ensure products achieve target cost before launch or have an approved gap-closure plan. Cost Governance Maintain a cost-reduction project pipeline and benefit-tracking system. Ensure reported savings are measurable, implemented, non-duplicated, and financially validated. Report product cost position, cost gaps, savings progress, risks, and required decisions to management. Support product profitability, budget, and long-term margin-improvement planning. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline. 5+ years of experience in product cost management, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, VAVE, or program management. Experience in chillers, HVAC, data center thermal management, or complex industrial products is preferred. Strong capability in BOM cost analysis, cost-gap analysis, should-cost modeling, and business-case evaluation. Proven ability to lead cross-functional programs without direct reporting authority. Strong analytical, influencing, negotiation, and project-management skills. Good English communication skills and experience working with global teams.
