Job Title: TM1 Developer

Location: Gurugram & Hyderabad

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced TM1 Developer with strong expertise in IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) and enterprise integration technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting TM1 applications while integrating TM1 solutions with various enterprise systems, databases, and cloud platforms. The role requires strong technical skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities TM1 Development

• Design, develop, and maintain TM1 models, cubes, dimensions, rules, Turbo Integrator (TI) processes, and chore schedules.
• Build Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) dashboards, reports, scorecards, and planning applications.
• Develop and optimize TM1 security structures, workflows, and performance tuning activities.
• Perform data modeling and forecasting solution development to meet business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve TM1 application issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.

Integration & Data Management

• Design and implement integrations between TM1 and enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, Data Warehouse, and Financial Systems.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using TM1 Turbo Integrator, SQL, and integration tools.
• Integrate TM1 with cloud and on-premises data sources using REST APIs, Web Services, and middleware platforms.
• Automate data loads, reconciliation, and validations across multiple systems.
• Support master data management and data governance initiatives.

Collaboration & Support

• Gather and analyze business requirements from finance, planning, and operational teams.
• Translate business requirements into scalable TM1 solutions.
• Provide production support, issue resolution, and performance optimization.
• Create technical documentation, deployment procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and release management activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills

• 6+ years of experience in IBM TM1 / Planning Analytics Development.
• Strong experience with:
• TM1 Cubes, Dimensions, Rules, Feeders o Turbo Integrator (TI) Processes o Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) o Planning Analytics for Excel (PAFE) o Security and Performance Tuning
• Strong SQL development and database experience (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, or PostgreSQL).
• Hands-on experience with integration technologies:
• REST APIs
• Web Services (SOAP/REST)
• ETL Tools (Informatica, DataStage, SSIS, Talend, or similar) o Python or scripting for automation
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or IBM Cloud.
• Knowledge of source control and DevOps practices.

Functional Skills

• Understanding Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Budgeting, Forecasting, and Reporting processes.
• Experience working with Finance and Business stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• IBM Planning Analytics/TM1 Certification.
• Experience with Cognos Analytics and reporting solutions.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Exposure to data warehousing concepts and enterprise architecture.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Integration Services, or similar integration platforms.

Education

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or related field.

Nice to Have

• Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake, Snowflake, Databricks, or other modern data platforms.
• Knowledge of financial consolidation and management reporting processes.
