TMS Training Specialist - Fixed Term Contract

Note - This role has expecation of national travel - You'll be on the road to different sites across the country as the rollout progresses, not based full-time in one office. You need to be able and willing to travel regularly. The roleOur client, a well-known New Zealand food manufacturing and distribution business, is rolling out a new Transport Management System (TMS) nationwide. We are looking for a Training Specialist to join the training team, travel to sites to shadow the current trainers, and take on training delivery in person. This is a fixed term contract opportunity until April 2027. What you'll do

• Travel to sites across the country to deliver the new transport management system training to drivers, dispatchers, planners and warehouse and customer service staff, in person and online.
• Deliver train-the-trainer modules, QRGs, user guides, eLearning and classroom content / instructional design.
• Run training logistics: scheduling, enrolments, attendance tracking.
• Be on site to support go-lives and coach super users and site staff before and after.
• Track training data, reporting, analysis, completion and flag knowledge gaps.

What you'll bring

• Able and willing to travel to sites nationwide on a regular basis, this role is not solely desk-based.
• Experience training people through a system rollout, ideally in transport, supply chain or logistics.
• Confidence delivering to frontline and site-based groups, face to face and virtually.
• Solid instructional design skills, and the ability to turn a complex system into simple, practical training.
• Comfortable managing training logistics across multiple sites.

• Auckland CBD based on office days, with regular travel to sites nationwide as go-lives roll out.
