Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that foster early literacy, math, physical activity, and social skills tailored specifically for toddlers.
• Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive behavior management.
• Engage children in hands-on activities that promote cognitive development, motor skills, and emotional regulation.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about each child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster strong home-school partnerships.
• Maintain detailed documentation of children’s developmental progress in accordance with child welfare standards and early intervention guidelines.
• Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure children’s safety and well-being are prioritized at all times.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons that incorporate childhood development best practices and standardized testing when applicable.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting, especially with toddlers.
• Knowledge of child development instruction, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or early intervention are a plus.
• Familiarity with curriculum development, literacy education, preschool teaching methods, and physical education for young children.
• Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and uphold child welfare standards consistently.
• Prior experience in preschool or private school environments is preferred; classroom experience should include lesson planning and working with diverse student needs.
