About the role
The primary focus of the instructor/lecturer/coach is on the planning, preparation and teaching of TOEFL programs to achieve specific student outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and teach TOEFL programs to achieve specific student outcomes
- Engage in critical reflection and inquiry to improve knowledge and skills to effectively engage students and improve their performance
- Meet the diverse needs of all students through content knowledge and pedagogical practice
- Plan, develop and implement appropriate curriculum
- Maintain regular communication regarding student's progress
- Prepare, administer and correct tests/outputs
- Evaluate progress, determine individual needs of students and discuss results
- Prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help
- Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences and teacher training workshops
- Teach and evaluate students through distance or online classes
