Tool & Die Maker – 2nd Shift

Position Summary

The Tool & Die Maker will be responsible for building, maintaining, modifying, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing stamping dies, progressive dies, fixtures, gauges, tools, jigs, special machines, and related equipment .

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with metal stamping and progressive dies , along with strong machining, precision measurement, tooling assembly, and troubleshooting skills.

This position requires the ability to independently operate a variety of tool room machines and equipment .

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot stamping and progressive dies .
• Operate manual and CNC tool room machinery.
• Read blueprints and CAD drawings.
• Perform precision measurements and tooling inspections.
• Fit and assemble dies and tooling components.
• Diagnose and repair tooling issues.
• Work independently and mentor Tool Maker Apprentices.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman Tool & Die Maker card or equivalent experience.
• Strong metal stamping/progressive die experience.
• Manual machining and precision measurement skills.
• Blueprint/CAD reading ability.
• Experience with CNC, EDM, or high-speed milling is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
